ok, so for music class, we were supposed to change the lyrics of some songs and sing it in class. so, here's what my sister and i have come up with.

1) Bakeaway (Kelly Clarkson's Breakaway)

i'll spread my things and i'll learn how to fry
i'll do what it takes till it's golden brown
take some salt,
get some yeast,
beat some eggs,
and bake awayy...
out of the oven and into the plate
but i won't forget to unplug the machine
get sugar,
add butter,
mix em well.
and bake away....

2) Birthday (Lady Gaga's Love Game)

let's have some fun, let's eat pansit.
i wanna take a bite off your fishball stick.
i wanna tissue.
but if there's none i'm gonna use my hand
and then i'll wipe it on your shirt
got my hands sticky with some icing
i should wash my hands, wash my hands
b-birthday, b-birthday.

YES I AM A WISHY-WASHY FLIP-FLOPPER. SO?

so, let's talk.

i'm not sure how to react to the $20,000 meal. people are really mad about it, but then, if you were offered a really posh meal at a really posh restaurant, will you refuse? yes, it's unfair to 88 million filipinos (is that right?). but everything is unfair. is the lotto unfair? some people just win and most people don't. that's it.

but, denish, you have always said that people should always try to make things a little fairer for everyone else.
well, yes. but in this case, it's different. because how can the people be sure that it's not her own money (from i don't know, maybe her own private business companies or maybe savings before she became president?)that she spent?

what about cory? she just died. gloria should at least prevent herself from indulges.
well yeah. but then, for example, your friend's mother died. someone invited you to eat at the spiral FOR FREE. will you not go? you're not related after all. and gloria nad cory aren't, either. yes, it was very sad. but maybe, just maybe, gloria didn't care as much as the filipino people did.

"if you separated the blue from the red in our flag, will it still be the philippine flag?"
no. but if you separated cory from gloria, she'll still be gloria. which is the point. gloria is not cory, nor was she ever good friends with her. i doubt that gloria would give a damn to cory even if she commited suicide. so yes, she accepted the invite to the very expensive meal. cuz unlike cory, she isn't so particular about equality(?) and democracy(remember garci?). democracy was everything to cory. because that's how she became president. the people voted for her. but gloria? well, lemme see.. if by people we mean garci, garci, and garci, then yes, the people did vote for her.

i heard that they are just using romualdoz's name to cover up for gloria.
i think so too. unfortunately, we can't do anything more about that anymore, can we? romualdez is stupid. he should've said anything about it. so that at least the people will know for sure.

are you on gloria's side?
no, i am not on anyone's side. these are just my opinions. i think gloria's stupid for eating a ridiculously expensive meal at THIS TIME. this time, when times are hard and everyone's trying to tighten up their belts. this time, when the filipinos are really sensitive to every little thing because their beloved heroine of democracy just passed away. this time, when she's already in the hot seat because there are talks that the elections next year might not push through. stupid gloria.

a note to those complaining people: you keep on complaining that gloria's living the rich, good life. you keep saying that gloria should help those poor people. well here's a question for ya: have they done anything at all to get their sorry little butts off poverty? i bet they still haven't tried looking for a job. and most of them are just burning money in the cockpits.

it's sad knowing that the past can never come back.

actually, that's pretty much it. :P *mysterious*

i hate it how i always forget the real topic i want to blog about when i actually sit down in front of the computer. arg!

it's a sad feeling
when you got nothing in your head
like staring at a blank ceiling
while lyin' on your bed.

anyway, so far school's been tiring. now i can't enjoy the weekend cuz i have to make a something peanut and prepare origami report thingy and finish the lab report and study for li shi. ghad, i think fate really wants me not to have fun on the last weekend that i get to hang with my friend. :(

i'm worried. i want to get honors! but my social grades are REALLY low. so i don't know what. my first two geom quizzes were bad too. gosh, denice, why do you choose now to get bad grades in math? you're weird. wala ka talaga sa timing.

ah well. better luck next quarter! GO DENICE! :))

This is a step-by-step procedure to taking the perfect vain photo*.
by sugarplum and spice

model: sugarplum :)

Before:
Shobe
This is our model, here taken in a not-so-flattering angle, with a not-so-flattering expression on her face.

The following steps were taken to achieve the resulting photo, which we shall see below.

Step 1
A good location was chosen to be the background. For us, the kitchen was perfect. It made her have a rosy glow.

Step 2

Her hair was let down. The bangs were also fixed in place. It gave a more feminine look.

Step 3
The camera phone was held about one and a half feet away from her face, positioned slightly above her head, and towards her right.

Step 4
The model was made to smile flirtatiously to the camera. Then she was asked to not show the teeth to make her look simple but nice.

Step 5
Press capture.

After:
Vaini_1
Voila! Picture perfect (or at least we think so)!
